Dear Parents,
I would like to thank everyone for all they did to make our P.S. 132 Harvest Festival a huge success!! It was wonderful to see our school families and community friends enjoying crafts, food and activities such as the Zombie Dance, Corn Maze and Mad Scientist Lab. P.S. 132 truly is the "Shining Star of Williamsburg"!!
The H1N1 vaccination forms were sent home with students. If you would like your child vaccinated in school, please return the form to school by October 30th.
On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd, there is no school for students.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on Tuesday, November 10th. Children will have a half day of school.
School is closed on Wednesday, November 11th for Veteran's Day.
We will be having our first School Tour on Friday, November 13th at 9:00am. If anyone you know is interested in enrolling their child in our school, please have them call the office to RSVP for the tour.

Parent News

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Just wanted to share some interesting information from the DOE.
The Office for Family Engagement and Advocacy will host Native Language Forums for families starting this month. These forums provide an opportunity for families to learn about important school information in their native language. This month's topics are the Gifted & Talented Process and School Promotion Policies.
Also, Food and Finance High School, located at 525 West 50th Street, is inviting all public school families to their "Taste of the Big Apple" celebration on November 10th. Come celebrate Fall with apple tasting and cooking demonstrations. An Apple computer will be raffled and student volunteers are needed. Please call (212) 374-2323 for further information on both events.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at the P.S. 132 Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 24th!!
Enjoy your week!!
