Exciting New Program for Parents

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am very excited to announce CookShop for Adults will be coming to P.S. 132 in the new year!! This will program will consist of a series of six workshops to be held once a month beginning in January and ending in June. Look for additional information regarding registration via email and in your child's folder in mid-January.
**Reminder...School will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th for Thanksgiving.

A Few Reminders

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Just a few reminders:
Pre-K and Kindergarten Cool Culture Applications are due by Friday, November 20th.
All Box Tops for Education are due in school by Monday, November 23rd.
Tuesday, November 24th 6pm to 8pm is our Middle School Information Night for 4th and 5th Grade families.
School will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th for Thanksgiving.
If you need your child's ARIS password, please call the Main Office or email me at ygarguilo@schools.nyc.gov.

ARIS, Cool Culture, and Parent Academy

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Student information regarding the ARIS Parent Link went home with your child this week. If you did not receive information or need to know your temporary password, please contact me immediately. Also, if there is incorrect information on your child's profile, please let me know so we can make the corrections.
Cool Culture is once again being offered to our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten families. Applications are being sent home on Friday, November 13, 2009. Please be sure to fill out the application and return by Friday, November 20, 2009. Late applications will not be accepted!
On Saturday, November 21, 2009, Saturday Parent Academy will be taking place at the Felisa Rincon de Gautier Institute for Law and Public Policy High School located at 1440 Story Avenue, Bronx, N.Y. This is a great opportunity for parents to learn how to become more involved in their child's school. Please visit http://nyc.gov/schools/Offices/OFEA for further information.
